Now grow!

It took us exactly 7 days to rottotill,build a fence,make the rows and walkways, plant and lay the irrigation and timers and pressure valves. But finally. It's done for now... Now, just grow darn it.
I also want to add that I'm the heat of the day, we took cover so many of these days we worked in the coolness if mornings and evenings.

The homestead projects begin.

Well in 5 days we have rototilled a plot that is 36x36 feet for our garden. Then we put up out fencing to keep the critters out, our nice neighbors gave us a gate that he had laying around . Then we hilled up the beds and away we went on planting. We now have 9 tomato plants,  2 zucchini, 1 crookneck squash, 1 summer squash, two big circles of pole beans, poles yet to be built two varieties of cucumbers, 3 eggplant,  Bush beans, russett potatoes, red onions, wala wala onions, garlic. 2 artichokes, sunflowers,marigolds... Sore muscles and one big smile. Tomorrow we lay the hay mulch.
